During May, many people in Japan face difficulties due to the beginning of a new job, starting school, finding it difficult to adapt to the new way of life and cultural differences. It can become overwhelming and may affect your day-to-day life.
You may feel demotivated, not able to complete your work tasks, not enjoying going out with your friends, having too much overtime work or dealing with language and cultural barriers. If this is too much for you, do not hesitate to ask for help from our clinic.
If you feel the need to take a break (sick leave) from work or school due to these overwhelming experiences, you can request a doctor’s note, known as 診断書 (shindansho) in Japanese. This note is an official medical recommendation for time off from work or school as part of your treatment.
It allows you to rest and recover without the stress of trying to “push through” burnout or cultural overwhelm. Moreover, it should not affect your visa in any way.
We are happy to announce an online consultation service for requesting doctor’s notes, without the need to come physically to the clinic! This service is available to both first time and returning patients.
Before booking your session, please review the online consultation policy.
Once you’ve read & agreed to the terms, you may proceed to the booking page.
Our clinic staff will follow up by email to provide the meeting link.
All online consultations will be held via Google Meets.
Please note: If this is your first time visiting our clinic, we cannot prescribe medication during an online session.
*Online medical consultations incur a separate handling fee of 3,900 yen in addition to the consultation fee and medical certificate issuance fee.
